A tragic incident occurred involving a ninth-grade student from Albert Einstein School in Ha Tinh, who died while participating in a school experience program in Hue. The Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training is preparing a report for the provincial government regarding this unfortunate event.

The student, identified as N.M.Q., was discovered deceased after falling from the fifth floor of a hotel where the group was staying. This incident took place around 3 AM on September 27, during a trip that lasted from September 25 to 27, organized for 178 ninth-grade students.

According to the Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training, the experience program is a mandatory activity established by the Ministry of Education and Training, as outlined in Circular 32 of 2018. Schools are required to conduct 105 hours of experiential activities each year, which can include cultural and historical site visits conducted in both English and Vietnamese.

While organizing such programs outside the province is permitted, schools must develop detailed plans to ensure student safety. The principal bears full responsibility for the activities conducted during these trips.

Following the incident, the school administration quickly dispatched a team to Hue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the student's death. They also arranged for the remaining students to return safely to Ha Tinh on the afternoon of September 27.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the matter to clarify the causes and circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
