According to satellite images and lightning detection data, these storm clouds are likely to expand and continue affecting areas such as Chuyen My, Ung Hoa, and Hoang Mai. Residents should prepare for potential thunderstorms, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

In addition to Hanoi, significant rainfall has also been reported in central and southern regions of Vietnam. For instance, during the night of September 22 and the morning of September 23, cities like Hue and Da Nang recorded substantial rainfall, with some areas exceeding 90mm. The forecast for September 23 indicates that from Quang Tri to Da Nang, rainfall may reach between 60-120mm, with isolated areas exceeding 200mm.

On September 24, heavy rain is expected to persist from Ha Tinh to Da Nang, with anticipated rainfall of 50-100mm, and some areas may receive more than 200mm. The meteorological agency has warned of the potential for intense rainfall exceeding 100mm within a three-hour period, which could lead to flooding in low-lying areas and increased risk of landslides in steep regions.
