A tragic incident has occurred at Jangshi Luxury Aesthetic Clinic, where a young man was discovered dead. This clinic, located at 70 Bach Dang Street in Tan Son Hoa Ward, has a troubling history, having been fined by the Ho Chi Minh City Health Department for various violations.

The Health Department reported that the clinic, operated by Jangshi Luxury Joint Stock Company, is headed by a technical specialist, Mr. N.M.D. The clinic was granted its operating license on September 18, 2024, and currently employs six staff members, including four doctors and two nurses.

In May 2025, Jangshi Luxury Aesthetic Clinic faced a hefty fine of 57 million VND due to several infractions. These included allowing unregistered medical practitioners to perform procedures, failing to maintain proper medical records, and advertising products and services without prior approval from relevant authorities. In addition to the monetary penalty, the clinic was ordered to remove all non-compliant advertisements.

In light of the recent death, the Ho Chi Minh City Health Department has urged the public to thoroughly verify information when selecting medical facilities. They recommend using the "Medical Practice Lookup Portal" (https://tracuu.medinet.org.vn) and to refrain from making unclear or unusual payments. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspected violations to the Health Department's hotline for prompt assistance.

The Department of Health has requested a comprehensive examination of the circumstances surrounding the young man's death at the clinic. They have emphasized that if any operations exceed the clinic's licensed scope, strict actions will be taken, and the results must be reported to the Ministry of Health by August 26, 2026.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Health has called for increased inspections and educational outreach to ensure that medical facilities comply with legal regulations and operate within their authorized capacities.
