Vinhomes Green Paradise: A New Growth Hub for Ho Chi Minh City

Vinhomes Green Paradise is set to emerge as a vital growth center for Ho Chi Minh City, particularly as the city's development expands towards the sea. Located in Can Gio, this project is strategically positioned to leverage multi-modal infrastructure, global supply chains, and an experiential economy.

The historical success of prosperous coastal cities like Singapore, Rotterdam, and Shanghai underscores a crucial principle: the rise of an economic hub often begins with robust maritime connectivity and inter-regional transport networks. In Can Gio, the driving force behind this economic flow is the Can Gio International Transshipment Port, which spans 571 hectares and is projected to handle 4.8 million TEUs by 2030, with aspirations to reach 16.9 million TEUs by 2047. This port will integrate Ho Chi Minh City into global maritime transport and logistics networks, attracting investments in finance, insurance, and international warehousing.

The potential of this maritime gateway will be fully realized through a highly connected transport system. Previously isolated, Can Gio is now being opened up by a comprehensive 'infrastructure universe' that is taking shape. Key projects include the Can Gio Bridge, which replaces the Bình Khánh ferry, and the upgrading of the Rung Sac road, enhancing transport corridors to the existing city center. Additionally, a high-speed rail line connecting Ben Thanh to Can Gio, designed for speeds of 350 km/h, will enable direct access to the financial center in just 13 minutes.

Moreover, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway will connect Can Gio directly to Long Thanh International Airport in about 40 minutes. A planned underwater tunnel and bridge linking Vung Tau and Can Gio will facilitate travel between two major southern coastal tourism centers in approximately 10 minutes. This multi-modal transport network is expected to be operational by 2028-2029, significantly enhancing the capabilities of the nearby Can Gio International Transshipment Port.

Located just 15-20 minutes from the international port, Vinhomes Green Paradise is envisioned as a high-end ecological urban area that meets the luxurious accommodation, international conference, office, and entertainment needs of businesses, professionals, and tourists alike.

As logistics infrastructure and maritime ports boost trade volumes, the sustainability of an economic center relies on its ability to retain talent and create real consumer value. Spanning 2,870 hectares, Vinhomes Green Paradise is designed as a super urban area with integrated multi-functional capabilities, operating an experiential economy year-round.

At its core is VinWonders, a 122-hectare entertainment complex featuring around 200 attractions, akin to Tokyo DisneySea and Universal Studios Singapore. This park is the first to center its theme around festivals, continuously refreshing the experiences of international visitors and Vietnamese families. Complementing this vibrant leisure environment is the Song Xanh complex, a cultural and artistic venue that provides a space for performances, conferences, and international exhibitions.

The ecosystem of conferences, resorts, entertainment, and commerce at Vinhomes Green Paradise creates an experiential economy that supports Can Gio's logistics gateway. The allure of Vinhomes Green Paradise is further enhanced by two expansive golf courses covering 155 hectares, serving as elite fitness spaces and networking venues for top business leaders.

Real consumer engagement is activated through a 20-hectare shopping paradise and the bustling Vincom Mega Mall. This utility structure establishes a closed-loop value cycle: business leaders attending conferences at Song Xanh connect with partners on the golf course; tourists enjoying VinWonders continue their spending at the outlet shopping area and opt for long-term stays; while the local resident community creates stable year-round demand.

When the three core foundations—maritime ports facilitating trade, super infrastructure enabling connectivity, and service ecosystems retaining people—operate in harmony, Vinhomes Green Paradise in Can Gio will contribute to a prosperous and sustainable space for Ho Chi Minh City as it ventures into the ocean era.
