Art Night '81 Peaceful Seasons' Celebrates Hanoi Police Force

The artistic event '81 Peaceful Seasons' took place on August 15 at the Monument of Martyrs for the Fatherland in Hanoi, celebrating the Hanoi police force. This event commemorated the 81st anniversary of the Vietnam People's Police Force and the August Revolution, as well as the National Day of Vietnam.

The program included a range of performances, starting with a ceremonial display by the Hanoi Police Honor Guard and the National Police Music Band, which set a heroic atmosphere with musical pieces such as 'August 19' and 'Police March'.

One of the highlights was a series of short plays directed by People's Artist Trung Hieu, which depicted significant criminal cases, including the international investment fraud and money laundering scheme known as Mr. Pips, which was dismantled by the Hanoi police. These plays not only told compelling stories but also illustrated the new challenges faced by law enforcement in the digital age.

Another notable performance was 'The Boundary of Justice', which drew from a case involving the Central Institute of Mental Health, where criminals manipulated medical records to evade legal responsibility. The emotional weight of the event was further deepened by a segment titled 'Behind the Peace', which honored firefighters who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

The event also featured various musical performances, including 'The Police of Hanoi for a Peaceful Life' and 'The Fatherland in the Light of the Sun', which resonated with the audience, showcasing the pride and dedication of the police force.

From 7 PM, audiences of all ages gathered in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy the show, with thousands of seats and LED screens set up to accommodate those further from the stage. The night concluded with the iconic song 'Joining Hands Together', leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

Prior to the main event, various activities took place around Hoan Kiem Lake, including a photo exhibition and interactions with the mounted police unit, enhancing community engagement and appreciation for the police force.
