In an impressive achievement, all 88 students from two classes at Le Thanh Tong Private School in Ho Chi Minh City have secured places in prestigious medical programs. The students, from classes 12B1 and 12B2, have shown exceptional dedication and performance, with 79 choosing to pursue medicine, 8 opting for dentistry, and one selecting pharmacy.

On August 13, representatives from the school announced that the majority of these students gained admission to top institutions, including the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The admission scores for class 12B1 ranged from 26.25 out of 30, with one student achieving a perfect score. In class 12B2, five students also attained perfect scores, including the national top scorer in the B00 category, Dinh Ngoc Hai Lam, while others scored no less than 23 points.

This marks the seventh consecutive year that class 12B1, led by teacher Nguyen Viet Long, has achieved a 100% pass rate to medical school. Teacher Long attributes this success to a selective admission process and a strong foundation established as early as grade 10. Recognizing the intense competition in health science fields, students are highly motivated to excel academically.

Students follow a strict daily schedule that includes two classroom sessions and additional evening study hours from 6 PM to 10 PM, or until 8 PM on weekends. The school has a no mobile phone policy, requiring students to use school devices or borrow from their homeroom teachers when necessary.

Le Thanh Tong Private School is part of the Nguyen Khuyen private school system in Ho Chi Minh City. The school has gained recognition, and some controversy, for its rigorous academic and residential schedules, particularly among its boarding students. This year's graduation saw two students achieving the highest scores in the B00 category nationwide.
