Ha Giang tour 4 days 4 nights: Discover the wild beauty of Vietnam's nature

With majestic mountains and delicious cuisine, Ha Giang is an ideal destination for tourists to enjoy a long trip during the upcoming holiday from 30/4 to1/5.

The distance from Hanoi to Ha Giang City is about 280km long, very easy to go. Thus, visitors can choose to travel with a sleeper bus, drive a car, or travel by motorbike. Here is the detailed schedule of your Ha Giang trip:

Day 1: Ha Giang City - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Lung Cu

The sleeper bus departs from Hanoi at 21:00 and arrives at Ha Giang bus station at 5:00 a.m. the next morning. You move to the motorbike rental place and temporarily rest in the room. Let's start our journey in the morning to check in at the Km 0 landmark in the heart of Ha Giang city. This landmark is located within the park near the Lo River, opposite square 26-3.

Leaving the milestone of Km 0, moving to Quan Ba, about 58km from Ha Giang city, takes 2 hours by car. There are several spots to stop along the journey, such as Bac Sum Slope, Quan Ba Twin Mountain, and Can Ty Bridge...

From Quan Ba, you will pass through a lonely tree to Tham Ma Doc, Lung Cam village, Pao's House, and Meo King's House (also known as Vuong's Palace, which is located in the middle of Sa Phin Valley).

At the end of the day, you can stop for the night at Lo Lo Chai village in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district. Peacefully located at the foot of Lung Cu flagpole, in Lo Lo Chai village, there is a North Pole coffee shop, which is a pleasant stop when coming to Ha Giang.

Day 2: Lung Cu Flagpole - Dong Van - Nho Que River - Meo Vac

After breakfast, start the second day with a visit to the Lung Cu flagpole, the work marking sovereignty in the northernmost part of Vietnam.

The next destination is Dong Van Town. The significant thing about Dong Van's old town is the architecture and culture with a history of hundreds of years of development. This ancient street is nearly 1 km long, with almost 40 old houses planned by the French, so the architecture is hardly unique with walled houses, yin, and yang tile roofs, and stone floors.

Farewell to Dong Van, visitors will head to the dangerous pass road Ma Pi Leng. Setting foot atop Ma Pi Leng and zooming in to observe the breathtaking mountain space will leave everyone speechless. Driving down the pass road that winds over the mountainside, one side is a deep chasm that will fill visitors with dread and thrill.

In addition, this legendary road also has several stops not to be missed, such as the cliff of death, the Panorama cafe - restaurant, and the viewing point of Tu San Alley from above.

Note, visitors should not climb the cliff of death to take pictures but only observe from afar. The local government has put up warning signs, and barricades and has not allowed visitors to set foot in this area.

After crossing the bumpy Ma Pi Leng pass, move to Nho Que river boat station - the natural boundary between Vietnam and China in Ha Giang.
Sitting on a boat on the Nho Que River, watching firsthand the wild and majestic scenery, and touching the cool, blue water is probably the most relaxing time in 2 days exploring Ha Giang.

At the end of the day, visitors arrive at the Pa Vi Ha Community Cultural Tourism Village. Located peacefully at the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass, the village is home to 26 Hmong ethnic households, preserving many typical cultural features of ethnic minorities.

Day 3: Meo Vac - Ha Giang City

After a night of enjoying traditional Hmong dishes, the couple returned to Ha Giang City in the direction of Meo Vac - Bao Lam - Bac Me.

During the long journey, Thang Nguyen continued to check in Km 0 Meo Vac, Hanh Phuc road (the road connecting Ha Giang to 4 northern highland districts including Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Meo Vac), and the legendary M-slope.

The M-shaped road is a twisting M-shaped road that runs from Yen Minh to Meo Vac. The winding, zigzag, and winding roads entice many visitors to return to Ha Giang to satiate their sense of conquering.

Day 4: Ha Giang - Hanoi

On The last day of the journey, visitors can go to Thanh Thuy border gate, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district, 20km from Ha Giang city, or visit Khuoi My village 12km away. Khuoi My is made up of three villages: Na Thac, Khuoi My, and Lung Vai. The Dao and Tay live primarily on wooden platforms roofed with palm palms and coated in moss.

In recent years, the romantic and peaceful terraced field paradise Khuoi My have become famous and frequented by many tourists. However, the way to Khuoi My is not easy, even searching for the address on Google Maps. Therefore, the map and the instructions of the indigenous people will be the best choice to come here.

In the early afternoon, visitors catch the sleeper bus Ha Giang - Hanoi to return to the starting point, ending the 4-day-4-night journey to discover the unforgettable Ha Giang.

Dining:

In addition to the majestic scenery that conquers the hearts of all visitors, the land of Ha Giang also has a rich culinary background for diners who like to eat well. When visiting Ha Giang, some must-try meals include banh cuon, au tau porridge, five-color sticky rice, men men, thang co, Tam buckwheat cake, Thang Dan...

Note:

There are many ways to travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Visitors could use a sleeper bus to save time and keep healthy for the long voyage ahead. When coming to Ha Giang City, if you are confident about your steering wheel and your health, you can rent a motorbike by yourself to travel and experience the heart-pounding downhill phases.
On the contrary, if you do not have enough time and health, or the group has elderly individuals and young children, you should rent a car with 7 - 16 seats, making the trip safer. In particular, currently, the road Mau Due - Yen Minh is under construction. To move to Ha Giang City from Dong Van, visitors should choose the route Meo Vac - Bao Lam - Bac Me.
