Hanoi National University of Education Sets High Admission Scores

On August 12, 2026, Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE) released its admission scores for the upcoming academic year. The highest score recorded was 29 out of 30 for the Mathematics Education program taught in English. This score leads the list of admission requirements, with several other teacher training programs also achieving scores above 28.

The admission scores for various programs range from 19 to 29. Notably, the Mathematics Education program in English stands out with a score of 29, followed closely by Chemistry Education at 28.99, Mathematics Education at 28.95, Physics Education at 28.77, Literature Education at 28.71, and English Education at 28.69. The majority of teacher training programs have retained high entry requirements similar to last year.

However, the French Education program saw a significant decrease in its admission score, dropping from 27.15 to 20.6. This decline reflects changing trends in student interest and demand for specific teaching subjects.

HNUE plans to enroll approximately 6,000 students this year through various methods, including assessments of candidates' capabilities and achievements, scores from the university's own competency evaluation exam, and scores from the national high school graduation exam.

Regarding tuition fees, students enrolled in teacher training programs are exempt from tuition, receiving a monthly living allowance of 3.6 million VND, in line with government policies.
