The Hanoi University of Education has announced that it will reveal its admission scores for the year 2026 on August 12. According to the university's calculations, the scores from the SPT exams, when converted, will be higher than those from the national high school graduation exams. For instance, a candidate scoring 25.75 in the SPT exam for the A00 group or 24.38 in the B00 group will be equivalent to 29.5 points in the corresponding national high school graduation exam.

As per the admission regulations this year, the Ministry of Education and Training has stipulated that candidates wishing to apply for education programs must list these preferences among their top five choices. If a candidate places education programs as their sixth choice or lower, their application will not be considered, regardless of their exam scores.

Last year, the admission scores for 48 programs at the Hanoi University of Education ranged from 19 to 29.06 out of a possible 30 points. The highest score was for the History Education program, while subjects like Political Education and various other teaching programs also had scores above 28 points. Conversely, Biology and Biotechnology programs, which are not teacher training courses, had scores below 20.
