Virtual Filtering Process and University Admission Scores for 2026
Vietnamese universities will announce their admission scores for 2026 following a six-step virtual filtering

As the deadline for confirming university admissions approaches, candidates in Vietnam need to act quickly to secure their places. Following the announcement of admission results on August 13, students must complete their enrollment confirmation by 5 PM on August 21, as mandated by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The process for confirming enrollment is straightforward but requires careful attention to detail. Students should use the account they created during the application process. Here are the five steps to follow:
Candidates should visit the official enrollment support system at thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.
At the system interface, students must log in using their ID card number, login code, and verification code. After logging in successfully, they should verify their account information before proceeding.
Students should navigate to the 'Check Results' section to view their admission status and the university they have been accepted into. This step is crucial for confirming the correct admission choice.
From the list of admission results, candidates need to select the program they wish to enroll in and click on 'Confirm Enrollment.' It is important to double-check the selected program before finalizing the confirmation.
After confirming enrollment, candidates must click 'Agree' to complete the process. Finally, they should check their status on the system. If the screen displays 'Enrolled,' the online enrollment confirmation is complete.
Once students confirm their enrollment through the Ministry's system, they cannot change their admission choice or apply elsewhere unless permitted by the university they have been accepted into. After completing the online confirmation, candidates should stay updated with their chosen university's admission procedures.
For those who have been accepted but do not wish to enroll, they must be aware that the confirmation system will close after the deadline. Students who did not secure their desired program in the first round and wish to apply for additional enrollment must not register for confirmation on the Ministry's portal and should closely monitor the supplementary admission announcements from universities.
According to the current regulations, universities conducting a second round of admissions cannot set lower admission scores than in the first round. From August to December 2026, educational institutions may continue to conduct additional admissions and update the list of students who have been accepted and enrolled as per the regulations.
