Nội Bài Airport Implements New Ride-Hailing Pickup Points
Starting August 3, passengers at Nội Bài International Airport must now pick up ride-hailing services from

From 7 AM on August 3, 2026, Noi Bai International Airport will officially implement a new traffic management plan at both the domestic terminal (T1) and the international terminal (T2). This change aims to enhance security, improve passenger flow, and reduce congestion in the terminal access areas. Passengers, their families, and drivers should take note of these important updates.
Under the new regulations, taxis and personal vehicles will no longer pick up passengers from the same locations. At terminal T1, vehicles for passenger transport with fewer than nine seats, including many ride-hailing services, will be directed to parking lot P2 in front of Hall E to wait and pick up passengers. Vehicles with nine seats or more will also use parking lot P2, but in designated areas. Personal vehicles with fewer than nine seats will wait in parking lot P1. Drivers must only move to lane 3 to pick up passengers once they have exited the terminal.
At terminal T2, passengers using ride-hailing services like Grab will proceed to parking lot P1 after exiting the terminal. This lot is designated for passenger transport vehicles with fewer than nine seats and does not include contracts with the airport. Personal vehicles will be directed to parking lot P3, while larger vehicles (nine seats or more) will use lots P6 and P7 as needed for traffic management.
For domestic flights, passengers can be dropped off at level 2 of terminal T1, which has four traffic lanes. Lanes 2 and 4 are reserved for continuous movement and should not be used for stopping. At terminal T2, drop-offs occur on level 3. Vehicles are prohibited from stopping for more than five minutes, and drivers cannot leave their vehicles more than two meters away from them. Commercial transport vehicles are not allowed to pick up passengers in these areas.
During the initial days of these changes, passengers are advised not to circle around the terminal waiting for flights to land or stop in lanes where it is not permitted. Passengers should only call for their vehicles when they have collected all their luggage and are at the correct pick-up point. If passengers are unsure of which parking lot or lane to go to, they can visit information counters located in both terminals. Additionally, passengers can call the airport's information hotline at 1900 636 535 for assistance.
For any service quality complaints, the contact number is 0389 166 566. Airport staff, including information desk personnel and security, are available to assist with directions. When seeking help, passengers should specify whether they are at terminal T1 or T2, the level they are on, and their proximity to specific doors or columns.
