Quang Ninh province is organizing a special concert titled 'Forever 20' on the evening of July 24, 2026, at the 30.10 Square in Ha Long City. This concert is part of the nationwide celebrations for the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, aimed at honoring the sacrifices of heroes and those who have contributed to the nation.

The concert is being organized by the provincial People's Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. It is one of five major cultural events approved by the government to commemorate this significant occasion.

Scheduled to begin at 8:10 PM, the event will feature 40,000 invitations and tickets, including 10,000 free online tickets available for the public and tourists. The remaining tickets will be allocated to representatives and local authorities.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Quang Ninh, they have invited around 11,000 veterans to attend the concert. However, reports indicate that nearly 7,000 individuals have registered to participate due to various reasons, including age and health concerns. Invitations will be respectfully sent to each individual and their families.

Phạm Thị Thùy Hương, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Home Affairs, mentioned that local authorities will arrange transportation for all invited veterans and their families to Ha Long for the event. The health department will also provide medical staff at designated seating areas for these honored guests.

The concert will consist of three segments: 'Youth for the Nation', 'Journey of Memories and Gratitude', and 'Reunion and Future Aspirations', showcasing historical milestones and honoring the revolutionary traditions of Quang Ninh and the sacrifices of past generations for the country's independence and freedom.

Numerous artists, including NSƯT Đăng Dương, Hồng Nhung, and Đức Phúc, will perform alongside an orchestra, choirs, and hundreds of performers, utilizing a modern outdoor stage with advanced sound, lighting, and large LED screens.

The event will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV) and Quang Ninh Radio and Television, aiming to spread the significance of this tribute nationwide.
