Quang Ninh province is set to hold a special film week from July 25 to 28, 2026, under the theme 'Drinking Water, Remembering the Source'. This event commemorates the 79th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, observed on July 27 each year. The film week aims to honor the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations, fostering national pride and a sense of responsibility in building and protecting the country.
The film week will feature four significant films that highlight themes of revolution, history, and patriotism. The schedule includes:
Free tickets for the screenings will be available from July 20 to 23 at the reception hall of the Quang Ninh Provincial Library during business hours. Each screening will take place at 8 PM daily in the library's auditorium, accommodating approximately 300 viewers per session.
The program will utilize modern LED screens along with advanced sound and lighting equipment to ensure the best viewing experience for the audience. This film week aims to widely promote the historical, political, and humanitarian significance of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, as well as to educate the public, especially the youth, about the traditions of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, and the moral values of 'Drinking Water, Remembering the Source' and 'Repaying Gratitude'.
