On July 8, the Lang Son Provincial Police announced that they had uncovered a group using illegal drugs in a rental housing area. Among those involved was a teacher from a local kindergarten.

The investigation revealed that on June 28, authorities discovered a group of individuals engaging in drug use in a room located in Luong Van Tri Ward. Following initial findings, the police expanded their investigation and detained Nguyen Hoang Anh (born in 1991, residing in Tam Thanh Ward, Lang Son) for his involvement in drug trafficking.

Further inquiries led to the identification of Tran Thi Thu Ha (born in 1994), who had solicited Chu Thi Thanh (born in 1996, also from Van Quan Commune) to purchase drugs for her use. During police questioning, Chu Thi Thanh admitted to her role in the illegal drug trade, while Tran Thi Thu Ha confessed to using drugs.

Tran Thi Thu Ha is currently employed as a teacher at a kindergarten in Lang Son province. On July 6, the Lang Son Provincial Police formally initiated criminal proceedings against Nguyen Hoang Anh and Chu Thi Thanh for drug trafficking, while Tran Thi Thu Ha was charged with illegal drug use. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to clarify the details of the case and take appropriate legal action.
