Spring roads throughout Vietnam

The rhythm of life and the colors of spring in different regions in Vietnam are reflected in the series of winning photos of the Spring Tiger contest.

The Ho Chi Minh City Photographic Association (HOPA) organizes an annual traditional spring photo contest. The Spring of the Tiger 2022 has two themes: Homeland Spring and Birds, Nature Animals, Flowers, Ornamental Fish, and Insects. The theme Spring of the homeland attracted more than 300 authors with 2,500 works. The jury selected 87 photos for awards and exhibitions. In which, there are 1 color prize, 2-second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes.

The award ceremony and exhibition took place on January 26 at 122, Suong Nguyet Anh, Ben Thanh, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The photo of Tet tangerine season by Hieu Minh Vu (Dong Thap) won the third prize. Dong Thap is likened to the ” kingdom of pink tangerines “, focusing on growing a lot in the Lai Vung district. Around December 15, traders come to the garden to survey and order tangerines. The harvest date falls on December 25-29. The price of tangerines this year is expected to be sold to traders at VND 70,000/kg.
