Noi Bai International Airport Introduces Free Shower Facilities

Noi Bai International Airport Introduces Free Shower Facilities

Noi Bai International Airport has recently introduced a new free shower facility for international travelers at Terminal 2. This initiative is part of the airport's efforts to improve service quality and provide a more comfortable experience for passengers before their flights.

The shower facilities are located within the restroom area on both the East and West wings of Terminal 2. They include separate private spaces for men and women, designed for standing showers, ensuring cleanliness and privacy. This addition is expected to assist passengers in refreshing themselves, particularly those facing long journeys or layovers.

Importantly, passengers can use the showers at no cost. The airport has also implemented 24/7 security camera monitoring in the corridors and movement areas surrounding the shower facilities to ensure safety and security.

The introduction of free shower facilities adds another option for travelers at the international terminal, complementing existing amenities for relaxation and personal care before flights. Furthermore, Noi Bai International Airport plans to expand the shower system to the domestic passenger terminal (Terminal 1) by the end of 2026, with facilities expected to be available in areas A, B, and E.

This expansion reflects the airport's commitment to enhancing the passenger experience across both terminals and better meeting the needs of travelers during check-in and waiting periods. As the quality of services at airports becomes increasingly important, practical amenities like free showers can significantly improve convenience for passengers, especially those on long journeys or spending extended time at the airport.

Travelers departing from Noi Bai are encouraged to take note of the shower locations in the international terminal's isolation area for their convenience. With plans for further implementation in the domestic terminal, this facility is set to serve more passenger groups in the near future.
