On October 7, the Central Inspection Commission confirmed the appointment of Trần Văn Phúc as the Deputy Head for the 14th term, covering the period from 2026 to 2031.

The announcement was made by Trần Sỹ Thanh, a member of the Politburo and the Head of the Central Inspection Commission, who presented the decision and congratulated Trần Văn Phúc with flowers. Additionally, during this conference, the Central Committee of the Communist Party also elected Trần Quang Bảo, a member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, to serve as a member of the Central Inspection Commission for the 2026-2031 term. Trần Quang Bảo, born in 1974 and from Hà Tĩnh province, holds a Ph.D. in Forestry.
