Political Bureau Reassigns Six Central Committee Members

On the afternoon of September 18, Trần Cẩm Tú, the Permanent Secretary of the Party Central Committee, presented decisions regarding the reassignment of six members of the Central Committee. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance local governance and leadership effectiveness.

The Political Bureau appointed Đinh Hữu Thành, a member of the Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee, to serve as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quảng Ninh City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Similarly, Đặng Văn Dũng, a Central Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, will take on the role of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Cà Mau Provincial Party Committee for the same term.

Trịnh Mạnh Linh, another Central Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, has been assigned as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Huế City Party Committee for 2025-2030. Meanwhile, Nguyễn Sĩ Hiệp, a Central Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, will serve as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hải Phòng City Party Committee.

Nguyễn Văn Phương, who is currently the Secretary of the Quảng Trị Provincial Party Committee, will take on the role of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee. Additionally, Trần Quân, a Central Committee alternate member and Director of the State Treasury, has been appointed as the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Lạng Sơn Provincial Party Committee.

During the announcement, Trần Cẩm Tú emphasized that all reassigned officials are well-trained and have extensive experience in various leadership roles. He urged the new deputy secretaries to quickly familiarize themselves with local conditions and implement decisive measures to achieve double-digit economic growth and fulfill key political tasks.

Tú also highlighted the importance of the Central Committee's role in providing strategic advice to the Political Bureau and the Central Committee in leading and directing socio-economic development and related fields.
