New Principal Appointed at Duc Dong Primary and Secondary School

The local government of Duc Dong in Ha Tinh has officially appointed Trinh Hong Manh as the principal of Duc Dong Primary and Secondary School. This decision was made on October 7, 2023, after a review of the school's leadership situation following the merger of three schools in the area.

Trinh Hong Manh, born in 1971, previously served as the Head of the Department of Culture and Society in Duc Tho and has a Master's degree in Educational Science along with a high-level political theory qualification. His appointment was part of a broader effort to stabilize the school's administration after the previous principal candidates withdrew from the selection process.

Earlier in September, the school faced a leadership vacuum after the merger. Initially, three candidates were considered for the principal position: Nguyen Van Loi, who scored 57.5 points; Nguyen Cong Anh, who scored 55.5 points; and Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, who scored 52 points. However, due to internal disagreements and requests for clarification regarding the selection criteria, Nguyen Van Loi and Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam both declined to take on leadership roles, citing the need to maintain internal unity.

In light of these developments, the local authorities decided to seek a candidate from outside the immediate area. On September 3, the Duc Dong commune submitted a request to the provincial government for assistance in appointing a new principal. Following a review, the provincial chairman approved the appointment of Trinh Hong Manh, effective October 1.

During the meeting to welcome him, local leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration among the school's staff to ensure a smooth transition and to enhance the quality of education. Trinh Hong Manh expressed his commitment to leveraging his experience and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve the school's objectives.
