The Quang Tri Department of Education and Training has confirmed that the exam results for five candidates, including the child of the principal of Le Truc High School, have been completely canceled. This decision pertains to the 2026 high school graduation exam, which has come under scrutiny due to allegations of cheating.

The principal's son, who took the exam in room number 61, had received scores of 9.5 in Mathematics, 8.25 in Literature, 7.75 in Physics, and 8.5 in Chemistry. The scandal has raised serious concerns regarding the integrity of the examination process.

Authorities have indicated that another candidate involved in the case is awaiting further instructions regarding the handling of their situation. The examination center at Le Truc High School has been identified as having signs of malpractice during the 2026 graduation exams.

In connection with this case, law enforcement has initiated proceedings against two individuals: Tran Duc Luc, a 44-year-old mathematics teacher and deputy head of the examination site, and Doan Thi Thanh Binh, a 45-year-old literature teacher and secretary of the examination site. Both are accused of being involved in facilitating the cheating.

The Quang Tri High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee has classified this incident as serious, impacting the fairness of the exam, the legitimate rights of candidates, and the reputation of the education sector.
