Petrolimex, officially known as the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, has announced a new pricing structure for its fuel products. Effective from 3 PM on September 24, 2026, the adjusted prices will apply across its distribution network throughout Vietnam, including its gas stations and retail partners.

The price changes come as a result of various factors, including the global market trends for petroleum products and recent legislative adjustments. The adjustments are in line with the resolutions passed by the National Assembly and the government, which include provisions for environmental taxes and value-added tax reductions aimed at easing the financial burden on consumers.

According to the announcement, the new prices will remain in effect until the next scheduled price review by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance. Petrolimex has emphasized its commitment to transparency, with the new prices being publicly available on their official website and through all affiliated gas stations.

In specific regions, particularly those far from ports and production facilities, local Petrolimex managers will have the authority to set prices but must adhere to the maximum limits established for those areas. This ensures that even in remote locations, consumers can access fuel at regulated prices.

The price adjustment is also a response to the fluctuating costs of crude oil and refined products on the international market, reflecting the company's adherence to the pricing principles outlined in government regulations. Petrolimex has assured that all necessary reports regarding the price changes have been submitted to relevant governmental bodies.
