A passenger van overturned following a collision with a truck traveling in the same direction on National Route 51 in Dong Nai on September 7. The incident occurred when both vehicles were navigating a multi-lane highway.

As the truck attempted to overtake other vehicles, it swerved left and then back to the right. Simultaneously, the passenger van moved to the right and then swerved back to the left, resulting in a dangerous situation where both vehicles converged into the same lane. The truck struck the side of the van, causing it to lose control and overturn.

There were four passengers and one driver in the van at the time of the accident, and fortunately, none sustained significant injuries. This incident highlights the importance of safe driving practices, especially on busy multi-lane roads.

Drivers are advised to choose appropriate lanes for their vehicles, maintain safe distances from others, and be cautious when changing lanes. Continuous lane changes can lead to traffic conflicts and increase the risk of collisions. In this particular case, had the van skidded into a motorcyclist or a cyclist on the roadside, the consequences could have been much more severe.

In a similar incident, on August 2, 2025, a truck changing lanes abruptly collided with a passenger car, causing it to lose control and crash into a median barrier, resulting in the car overturning.
