As the launch date approaches, the prices for Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the much-anticipated iPhone Ultra have been revealed through various leaks. With less than a week to go before the official announcement, these pricing details have generated considerable interest among tech enthusiasts.

Recent leaks indicate that the iPhone Ultra, which is expected to feature a foldable design, could be priced between $2,000 and $2,500 in the United States. This represents a significant increase over the iPhone 17 Pro, with estimates suggesting that the Ultra could be approximately 75% more expensive. For instance, Vodafone Egypt previously listed the iPhone Ultra at 155,750 Egyptian pounds, which translates to over $3,000. In Australia, the pricing could start at around 3,699 AUD, equivalent to about $2,666.

TrendForce, a research firm based in Taiwan, has provided estimates suggesting that the minimum price for the iPhone Ultra might be $2,099, marking a staggering 91% increase compared to last year's flagship model.

Regarding the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, leaks suggest that their starting prices in Egypt could be around 98,000 Egyptian pounds (approximately $3,200) and 105,000 Egyptian pounds (around $3,400), respectively. This indicates a modest increase of about 10% for the iPhone 18 Pro and 11% for the Pro Max compared to last year’s models. If similar price adjustments are made in the U.S. market, we might see a price increase of around $100 to $200 for these models.

Interestingly, if the price increase remains at $100, the iPhone 18 Pro could start at $1,299, making it competitive with Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, the Ultra model faces stiff competition from other foldable devices, including Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8 and Motorola's Razr Fold, which offer compelling features at lower price points.

Despite the higher price tags, the strong brand loyalty associated with Apple may still drive significant sales for the iPhone Ultra, especially as it will be the only foldable smartphone running on iOS. As we await the official announcement, the tech community is eager to see how Apple positions these new models in the market.
