SSI to Distribute 2.5 Trillion VND in Dividends and Issue Over 500 Million Bonus Shares
SSI has announced plans to distribute 2.5 trillion VND in cash dividends and issue over 500 million bonus

Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, the Chairwoman of Phu Nhuan Jewelry (PNJ), along with her family, has reached an agreement to lend the company over 1 trillion VND. This decision comes as a result of selling shares, and the funds will be used to boost PNJ's working capital and financial strength.
The loan is capped at a maximum of 5% of the total asset value reported in the latest financial statement, which indicates that the family could provide close to 1.08 trillion VND based on PNJ's total assets of approximately 21.596 trillion VND. The loan will be unsecured and has a maximum duration of 12 months, with disbursements occurring in multiple phases according to the company's capital needs and decisions made by the CEO.
In a volatile market environment, PNJ recognizes that strengthening its financial resources is essential for maintaining operational stability. To arrange the funding for this loan, members of Dung's family plan to sell PNJ shares. They continue to be significant shareholders in the company.
Currently, PNJ shares are trading at around 40,000 VND each. The stock has seen a strong recovery since late August, following reports from the Thanh Hoa Police Department regarding the investigation of a transnational diamond smuggling case, confirming that PNJ has complied with all legal requirements during its importation and distribution processes.
Additionally, PNJ welcomed two new major shareholders, T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Vanguard investment group, during this period. In a related transaction, Phan Quoc Cong, a board member and CEO of PNJ, recently completed the purchase of 1 million shares, amounting to approximately 36 billion VND. Earlier in July, Dung’s brother, Cao Ngoc Duy, also acquired 300,000 shares.
According to the consolidated financial report for the first half of 2026, PNJ recorded a post-tax profit of 728.5 billion VND. The company has made provisions for potential losses related to its product exchange policy, reflecting a cautious approach to its financial obligations.
