VinFast Launches Affordable Electric Scooter Kyo
VinFast has introduced the Kyo, an electric scooter priced from 30 million VND, featuring a spacious storage

VinFast has recently showcased the first images of its VF 2 electric vehicle, which is priced at 188 million VND. The VF 2 has been allocated to several dealerships in Northern Vietnam for display purposes, with vehicle deliveries anticipated to commence following the National Day holiday on September 2.
Launched in July, the VinFast VF 2 is a sibling model to the Minio Green, sharing identical design, specifications, and battery features. The VF 2 features a two-door, four-seat configuration, with noticeable differences in its exterior design, particularly at the front where the plastic trim between the headlights and the wing-shaped decorative strip matches the vehicle's color. The rear design has also eliminated the chrome trim.
The overall dimensions of the VinFast VF 2 are 3,090 mm in length, 1,496 mm in width, and 1,663 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,065 mm. Compared to its larger counterpart, the VF 3, the VF 2 is shorter by 100 mm in length, narrower by 183 mm, and taller by 41 mm, while its wheelbase is 10 mm shorter.
In terms of equipment, the VF 2 is equipped with basic features, including LED headlights and 13-inch steel wheels. The interior lacks a central entertainment screen, featuring only a 7-inch multi-information display behind the steering wheel. It includes a single-zone air conditioning system, manually adjustable driver’s seat, basic key, and two integrated speakers for radio entertainment.
The VF 2 is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 40 horsepower and 65 Nm of torque, allowing for a maximum speed of 80 km/h. It offers two driving modes: Eco and Normal. The vehicle is equipped with an 18.3 kWh battery, providing a maximum range of 210 km according to NEDC standards. The battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in just 34 minutes, based on manufacturer specifications.
Notably, despite sharing hardware with the Minio Green, the VinFast VF 2 has a lower energy consumption rate, consuming 100 Wh/km, which is 5 Wh/km less than its counterpart. Safety features include a driver’s airbag, anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control system (TCS), and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). The vehicle also employs an independent suspension system at the rear.
In the Vietnamese market, the VinFast VF 2 is priced competitively at 188 million VND (including the battery), directly competing with the Bestune Xiaoma, which is priced at 199 million VND. The VF 2 benefits from a widespread V-Green charging station network across the country, and customers purchasing the vehicle will enjoy free charging for up to 10 times per month at V-Green stations until February 10, 2029. The VF 2 has garnered significant interest from consumers, receiving 28,742 pre-orders within the first three days of its launch (July 15-17).
