As of August 23, fuel prices in Vietnam have maintained stability after the adjustments implemented on August 20 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance. The retail prices at MIPEC (Military Petroleum Corporation) have been updated accordingly.
The latest pricing indicates that E10 RON 95-III biofuel is listed at 22,660 VND per liter in region 1 and 23,110 VND in region 2, marking an increase of 550 VND per liter compared to the previous adjustment. Meanwhile, E5 RON 92-II biofuel is priced at 21,830 VND per liter in region 1 and 22,260 VND in region 2, which is a rise of 600 VND per liter.
In the diesel category, diesel 0.001S level 5 is now priced at 30,640 VND per liter in region 1 and 31,250 VND in region 2, reflecting an increase of 1,310 VND per liter. Similarly, diesel 0.05S level 2 is listed at 28,540 VND per liter in region 1 and 29,110 VND in region 2, also showing a rise of 1,310 VND per liter.
This adjustment has resulted in price increases across all fuel types at MIPEC, with the most significant hikes observed in the diesel categories. The new retail prices will remain in effect across all MIPEC gas stations and authorized dealers nationwide until further notice.
The price adjustments are in line with the current regulations governing fuel pricing, taking into account the fluctuations in global fuel prices and other cost components as determined by regulatory authorities.
