Fireworks Celebrate 50 Years of Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City celebrated the 50th anniversary of its name with a spectacular fireworks display on July 2.

Thanh Hóa province will celebrate National Day with a spectacular fireworks display at Lam Sơn Square and Sầm Sơn Beach Square. This event, fully sponsored by Sun Group, is scheduled to take place on September 1, from 9:15 PM to 9:30 PM, lasting approximately 15 minutes.
The provincial Military Command of Thanh Hóa is responsible for the technical organization and safety of the fireworks display. In addition to the fireworks, local authorities will host various artistic performances at these venues to entertain both residents and visitors.
This fireworks event aims to create a joyful atmosphere for the national celebration while enriching the cultural and artistic activities in the province during the holiday. It also serves as an effort by local authorities and businesses to promote Thanh Hóa's tourism image to both domestic and international friends.
Sun Group has played a strategic role in sponsoring and supporting many significant events in the region, including the Sầm Sơn Beach Tourism Festival, which has been consistently held since 2019. This year, the festival attracted over 10,000 attendees with a series of large-scale music and fireworks programs, significantly boosting summer tourism.
In the first seven months of this year, Thanh Hóa welcomed approximately 13.2 million visitors, an increase of 11.3% compared to the same period last year, achieving nearly 80% of the annual target. The total revenue from tourism reached over 20 trillion VND, marking a 12.9% increase compared to the previous year.
Sun Group's contributions extend beyond cultural events; they are also known for their well-planned tourism infrastructure projects. The Sầm Sơn Beach Square and the festival landscape axis, equipped with a modern water music system, have become popular venues for large-scale artistic programs. Additionally, the Sun World Sam Son water park, featuring 14 modern water games, offers diverse entertainment options for families and young people.
Looking ahead, Sun Group plans to implement other key projects, including a spiritual tourism complex at Nưa Mountain (Huyền Tích Am Tiên), promising to create a new spiritual destination for the area. The presence of high-quality tourism ecosystems, entertainment, and accommodation is transforming the landscape of Thanh Hóa tourism, with a target of welcoming 16.8 million visitors this year.
