Danang int’l fireworks festival to make comeback in June
HCMC – The 2023 Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2023) will be organized from June 3 to July 8

Tonight, June 20, marks the fourth night of the International Fireworks Festival in Da Nang, known as DIFF 2026. This evening's competition will showcase two teams: Apple Pyrotechnics from Macau, China, and Josef Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerk from Germany, competing under the theme of "Heritage."
Apple Pyrotechnics is renowned for its expertise in fireworks production and artistic design, having executed over 5,000 displays both domestically and internationally. The team boasts three championship titles from various international fireworks competitions in Guangdong, Macau, and Liuyang.
On the other hand, Josef Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerk, a newcomer to this year's festival, promises to bring a fresh performance philosophy that incorporates three innovative techniques. These include a computer-controlled system for precise firework trajectories, a multi-layered light architecture without gaps, and an intricate synchronization of music and light.
The two teams present distinct styles: Apple Pyrotechnics is known for its bold and transformative displays, while Josef Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerk emphasizes meticulousness and precision, drawing on a 150-year legacy.
The fourth night of the festival will be broadcast live on Da Nang Radio and Television from 8:10 PM. Audiences can also enjoy performances by local artists such as (S)trong Trong Hieu, Muoi, and Hoang Long, with the event hosted by MC Nguyen Khang and runner-up Khanh Nhu.
