The upcoming Big Bang concert in Hanoi has seen ticket prices soar significantly, with resale tickets being offered at tens of millions of Vietnamese dong above their original prices. Following the announcement of the official ticket prices for the 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX: COSMOS in Hanoi, the secondary market has become highly active.

Official ticket prices range from 1 million to 10.5 million Vietnamese dong, with the Ultimate VIP Package priced at 10.5 million dong and the Diamond VIP at 9.8 million dong. However, on the resale market, a Diamond VIP ticket originally priced at 9.8 million dong is now being listed for 45 million dong, marking a staggering increase of 35.2 million dong.

Not only are high-tier tickets being resold at inflated prices, but various other ticket categories are also being offered at several million dong above their original prices. Many fans have resorted to hiring "ticket campers" to secure tickets during the initial sale, only to face markups of 2-3.5 million dong per ticket depending on the category and seating location.

Minh Anh, a Big Bang fan in Hanoi, expressed her concerns about the rampant ticket scalping. "I have saved money to buy official tickets, but with scalpers so active, my chances of getting a ticket during the three-day sale are significantly lower. If I have to buy from resellers or hire someone to camp for me, the prices will exceed my budget, making it hard to choose a good seat," she said.

The practice of camping for tickets and reselling them at inflated prices is not new, especially for highly anticipated concerts. Early ticket hunters often secure prime seating or special packages and then resell them at inflated prices as demand increases.

This situation mirrors previous events, such as the G-Dragon concert in Hanoi in 2025, where VVIP tickets priced at 8 million dong were later resold for 40-100 million dong. The significant gap between official ticket prices and resale prices forces fans to carefully consider their purchases, especially since tickets listed at unusually high prices carry risks of being counterfeit or invalid.

For fans traveling from other provinces to attend the concert, buying invalid tickets could also jeopardize their travel and accommodation plans. Buyers are advised to prioritize official sales channels, check transfer regulations, and verify ticket information before completing any transactions.

The official ticket sales for the Big Bang concert in Hanoi will begin on August 13 for fan club members, with subsequent sales for VPBank cardholders and the general public on August 14 and 15, respectively.
