VFF Announces Ticket Sales for Vietnam vs. Myanmar Friendly Match
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has announced the ticket sales for the international friendly match

The World Cup 2026 final is set to take place at MetLife Stadium on July 20, 2026, and ticket prices are experiencing a dramatic increase. Currently, there are only about 1,178 tickets remaining for the match, with prices ranging from approximately $7,500 to a staggering $11.4 million.
According to reports, tickets on FIFA's official market are selling at prices that reflect the high demand. The lowest ticket price is around $7,500, while premium seats are going for much higher, including some valued at over $34,500 in the VIP Trophy Lounge area. This area offers the best views and additional perks such as food and drink services.
As of July 10, FIFA has sold nearly 1,200 second-tier tickets priced at $7,380 each. However, the ticketing situation has led to criticism from fans regarding the exorbitant prices. Some fans have even filed lawsuits against FIFA, claiming that the ticket prices are excessively high.
In the lead-up to the tournament, the black market has also seen tickets listed for as much as $2 million each. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has stated that these prices are not set by FIFA but are determined by market conditions in the U.S.
FIFA is currently facing scrutiny from the states of New York and New Jersey as part of an investigation into ticket pricing and seating accuracy for the World Cup 2026.
In addition to the match itself, FIFA has announced that the halftime show will feature performances from major artists including Madonna, Shakira, Burna Boy, BTS, and Justin Bieber, marking a historic first for a World Cup final. However, not all broadcasters are pleased with this decision, as some have opted to skip the halftime show in favor of expert analysis of the match.
