A tragic incident occurred in Dak Lak province, Vietnam, where a former tax official was shot dead. The victim, identified as H.H.H., aged 47, was a former employee of the Dak Lak Tax Department and currently owned a business in the field of export inspection.

On July 2nd, around 6:50 PM, H.H.H. was sitting at a café on Tran Nhat Duat Street in Buon Ma Thuot, conversing with a woman when an unidentified man approached him. Witnesses reported that the assailant, wearing a mask, pulled out what appeared to be a firearm and shot H.H.H. five times in the left side of his head before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.

Local residents expressed shock at the violent act, as the area is typically known for its tranquility and low crime rates. One nearby resident recounted hearing multiple loud noises, initially mistaking them for the sound of popping balloons, only to discover moments later that a murder had taken place.

Authorities in Dak Lak province are actively investigating the case and searching for the suspect involved in this serious crime. Security camera footage revealed that a man dressed in a green shirt, associated with a ride-hailing service, was seen approaching the scene before the shooting occurred.

The local community is now on edge following this incident, which has raised concerns over safety and security in their neighborhood. The police are urging anyone with information about the suspect to come forward as they continue their investigation into this shocking crime.
