There is no ground to cancel nuclear power planning: Minister
There is no ground to eliminate nuclear power planning, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien said

The Khanh Hoa province is working diligently to finalize the land clearance for the Ninh Thuan 1 and 2 nuclear power projects, aiming to meet the deadline of June 30. The local government has reported that the majority of residents are in agreement with the project; however, the process of compensation and support has encountered several obstacles. These issues stem from discrepancies in documentation and the large volume of work required to ensure proper compensation.
To address these challenges, local authorities are accelerating the clearance process while ensuring compliance with legal regulations regarding compensation payments. This effort is crucial to eliminate bottlenecks and facilitate the timely handover of land for this significant energy project.
The Ninh Thuan nuclear power plants are part of Vietnam's broader strategy to diversify its energy sources and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. As the country continues to develop, the successful implementation of these projects is seen as vital for meeting future energy demands.
