Incense offering ceremony held for late revolutionaries in Ho Chi Minh City

At the incense offering ceremony.   

NDO – The Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, held a meeting in the Sai Gon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh Revolution Memorial Complex, in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City, on February 5 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year 2022).


The meeting saw the presence of former President Nguyen Minh Triet and Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Van Nen reviewed the glorious traditions of citizens and soldiers within the Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh revolutionary region, during the past two national resistance wars.

Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh was a strategic area of the southern front, especially during the Ho Chi Minh campaign, which resulted in the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Prior to the meeting, former Party and State leaders and Ho Chi Minh City leaders and delegates, offered incense at the Sai Gon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh Revolution Memorial Complex, to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, ancestors and compatriots, cadres, Party members and soldiers, who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the cause of national liberation, construction and defence.
