Bosch Global Software Technologies opens new center in Hanoi


Both the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City centers are expected to ramp up and accommodate around 6,000 professionals by 2025. These two locations will work interconnectedly to augment the company’s focus on Automotive Engineering and Digital Enterprise.

BGSW Vietnam is looking for fresh talents from universities and colleges in the areas of Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automotive, IT and Software Engineering. These professionals will become a part of the company’s global talent pool in technologies such as AIoT, Cloud, and Embedded Engineering.

With more than 23,000 associates across the globe, Bosch Global Software Technologies is a powerhouse of software led technology. Vietnam center is pivotal for developing high tech products and IT applications in Automotive, Industrial and consumer goods sectors for global locations including Japan, Korea, China and ASEAN. In the last decade, BGSW Vietnam has witnessed growth beyond expectations and has become the region's leading "innovation house" of nearly over 2,900 highly qualified tech engineers. Within these engineers, 13 percent of whom have Master's or PhD certifications. Especially, female associates account for 28 percent of the workforce, nine percent of whom are holding key positions although the technology field is not classically considered a "territory" for women.

The inauguration of this new center in Hanoi represents another important strategic milestone, following the company’s recent name change from Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBVH) to Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) in January this year. The new name reflects the company’s aspirations to strengthen its positioning as a software powerhouse, while becoming more attractive to young talents.
