The tea hills of Long Coc (Phu Tho), Moc Chau (Son La), and O Long (Lao Cai) are in the best hunting season for dew and clouds.

Travel photographer Tran Linh, 28 years old, currently living in Hanoi, is passionate about landscape photography. According to Linh, the North has many tea hills, but chose these places to take photos because they are famous in the tourism community, have a panoramic view to capture beautiful landscapes, many opportunities to hunt clouds and dew, thanks to the terrain. Long Coc is about 600 hectares wide, with hundreds of hills in succession. Not only a place to attract tourists, and photographers, tea trees here are attached to people’s lives.

Moc Chau tea hill , located in Moc Chau district, Son La, about 200 km from Hanoi. Moc Chau tea hill was formed in 1958, so far has a total area of ​​more than 1,850 hectares, divided into many areas.

Tea beds stretch along the hillside at sunset. In Moc Chau, the main types of tea grown include shan Tuyet, oolong, Japanese tea… In recent years, Moc Chau has developed tea hill areas in combination with tourism promotion, so there are more tea plantations. heart to attract tourists to take pictures.


Moc Chau tea hill is also an endless inspiration for photographers and tourists. “Fortunately when I arrived at the place, I met the beautiful weather at dawn, underneath the tea hill were silk-like mists. I and many friends who were photographers from the three regions were overwhelmed in that moment,” Tran Linh shared.

O Long tea hill is located 8 km from Sa Pa town (Lao Cai) and nearly 400 km from Hanoi. The tea hill is about 200 hectares wide, after a period of closure, has now reopened to visitors.
O Long has its own beauty when the rows of cherry apricot trees interspersed on the path bloom brilliantly around December and last for about a month. This is a destination that attracts tourists and photographers in recent years.


“That day, the weather in the center of Sa Pa was cold and foggy, but when you reached this tea hill, it was a clear blue sky with sunshine shining on the young leaves and flowers, creating a fresh and fresh scene. Standing in front of such a scene, I feel more refreshed”, Tran Linh said.

Apricot cherry is a woody plant, usually losing all its leaves around October-November every year. In the cold weather of the Northern highlands, flowers bloom in December, covering all branches and branches. There are two best time to take photos of the tea hill, which are 6-8 hours and 16-17 hours every day.

“When you can explore the beautiful weather, you’ll be on your way. Landscape photographers always look forward to catching the beautiful moments of nature.
