A recent wedding in Lang Son has become a viral sensation, showcasing the profound love and support of a mother-in-law for her daughter-in-law. On October 4, Bui Thi Lan, a resident of Kháng Chiến commune, woke up early, filled with mixed emotions, to host a wedding for her daughter-in-law, Thuy Linh, who has been part of their family for nearly a decade.

Thuy Linh, now 28, married Lan's son in 2017 and soon welcomed a beautiful daughter. However, their happiness was short-lived as Lan's son tragically passed away in 2019 after battling a severe illness. This loss left Thuy Linh a young widow, raising their child alone. Understanding the challenges her daughter-in-law faced, Lan vowed to care for and support her as a mother would.

As time went on, Thuy Linh continued to live with her in-laws, maintaining a close relationship with them. Despite her initial reluctance to remarry, Lan encouraged her to open her heart again.
