Khanh Vy made a significant impact at the Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 finale held on October 2 in Hai Phong, where she was praised for her elevated appearance and exceptional hosting abilities. As one of the three hosts for the event, alongside Thien Vu and Champ, she garnered attention for her skillful presentation and seamless coordination with her co-hosts.
During the event, Khanh Vy showcased her fluency in English, contributing to a lively atmosphere. Her clear and composed delivery during the results announcement and contestant introductions was noted by many. Media expert Ngo Ba Luc commended her performance, highlighting the challenges of hosting a beauty pageant compared to her previous work in educational and political programs.
“Khanh Vy did remarkably well. Her voice is full, bright, and her articulation is clear and warm. She maintained a sophisticated yet approachable style, balancing femininity without being overly dramatic,” said Ngo Ba Luc.
In addition to her hosting skills, Khanh Vy's transformed appearance drew significant praise. Departing from her usual dynamic and gentle image, the 27-year-old presenter appeared more mature and alluring in a stunning silver gown that hugged her figure, adorned with sparkling details. The gown featured sheer elements and shimmering fringes that caught the light beautifully as she moved.
Many viewers were surprised by her striking look, with comments suggesting she resembled a beauty queen herself, standing out among the contestants. Khanh Vy also received compliments from Nawat Itsaragrisil, CEO of Miss Universe Eastern, who suggested she consider participating in a beauty contest during a live interaction.
At 27, Khanh Vy is a familiar face among young audiences, known for her active involvement in television, education, and digital content creation. Recently, she was appointed to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union during its 5th Congress in Hanoi, reflecting her influence in cultural and artistic fields.
Born Tran Khanh Vy in 1999 in Nghe An, she gained fame in 2016 for her video imitating various languages and earned the nickname “hot girl of seven languages.” After graduating with honors in International Relations from the Academy of Foreign Affairs, she pursued a career as a presenter and content creator, becoming well-known as the host of the program “The Road to Mount Olympus.” Currently, she is also studying for a master’s degree in International Communication at the same academy.
