From the night of September 30, a weak cold front will start to impact Northern Vietnam, marking the end of the recent heatwave. According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the region will experience a drop in temperatures, with highs ranging from 32 to 34 degrees Celsius from October 1 to 2.

On October 1, temperatures in Northern Vietnam will decrease by about 2-3 degrees Celsius, leading to cooler conditions. The cold front is expected to bring rain, particularly in the mountainous areas, from the early hours of October 1 through October 2.

Looking ahead, a stronger cold front is anticipated to arrive around October 4-5, which will further lower temperatures and bring rain to Northern and Central Northern Vietnam. The minimum temperatures are forecasted to be between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous regions possibly dropping below 20 degrees Celsius.
