Vingroup Launches Second Green Future Program

Vingroup Launches Second Green Future Program

Vingroup, a leading Vietnamese conglomerate, has officially launched the second phase of its 'Green Future' program, which aims to encourage the transition to electric vehicles across the country. This initiative aligns with the Vietnamese government's commitment to green transportation and environmental sustainability.

The program introduces two main groups of attractive policies for individual customers and commercial drivers who choose to switch to VinFast electric cars and motorcycles. The first group of policies, known as the 'Gasoline to Electric' incentive, will be effective from September 19, 2026, to December 19, 2026. Customers who own gasoline-powered vehicles from any brand or existing VinFast electric vehicles can receive discounts ranging from 3% to 9% when purchasing new VinFast electric cars. For instance, popular models like VF 5, VF 6, and VF MPV 7 can enjoy discounts up to 9%.

Additionally, customers purchasing VinFast electric cars will benefit from free charging at V-Green stations until February 10, 2029. To qualify for these incentives, the vehicle must be registered under the name of the customer or their immediate family members.

For VinFast electric motorcycles, discounts range from 1.5 million to 6 million VND, depending on the model and version. Customers opting for battery-swapping electric motorcycles will also receive support for 20 free battery swaps per month until June 30, 2028.

The second group of policies targets commercial drivers. Green SM, a partner platform, is offering a unique incentive program that allows drivers to share up to 100% of their revenue for the first two years if they purchase or lease VinFast electric vehicles and register on the Green SM platform before December 19, 2026. This initiative aims to provide drivers with a stable income and support their transition to electric vehicles.

Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and CEO of Vingroup, emphasized that the second 'Green Future' program reflects their commitment to supporting the government's green transition strategy. He believes that individual actions, like choosing electric vehicles over gasoline ones, will significantly contribute to achieving Vietnam's Net Zero goals.

With these attractive incentives, the 'Green Future' program promises to deliver superior benefits compared to previous initiatives and will replace earlier programs starting from its effective date. Customers can find more details about eligibility and benefits on the VinFast website or by contacting customer service.
