Bùi Bá Hiến, the CEO of Box Vietnam, has been issued an arrest warrant by the police in Bắc Ninh Province due to allegations of copyright infringement. The warrant was announced last week after Hiến was officially indicted on July 24 for violating copyright laws under Article 225 of the Penal Code.

At 36 years old and originally from Khoái Châu, Hưng Yên Province, Hiến was last known to reside at 19 Thân Văn Nhiếp Street in Bình Trưng Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, before he reportedly fled on May 13, 2026.

Box Vietnam initially gained recognition for its focus on gaming, streaming, and eSports. Over time, the company has evolved to offer marketing, communication, and multi-platform digital content services. Notably, Box Vietnam holds exclusive broadcasting rights for the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), the premier League of Legends tournament in South Korea, since June 2021.

During his tenure at Box Vietnam, Hiến was known for his controversial statements, including his belief that "making mistakes is acceptable as long as one is genuine in their efforts." This philosophy has drawn both support and criticism from various stakeholders in the industry.
