The police in Bắc Ninh have issued an arrest warrant for Bùi Bá Hiến, the former CEO of Box Vietnam, due to charges of copyright infringement. The decision comes after an investigation revealed that Hiến, 35, had fled his residence in Ho Chi Minh City on May 13.

Bùi Bá Hiến, originally from Hưng Yên, was known for his role in leading Box Vietnam, a company that initially focused on gaming, streaming, and eSports. Under his leadership, the company expanded its services to include marketing, communications, and multi-platform digital content production. Box Vietnam gained recognition in the domestic eSports market, especially after securing broadcasting rights for the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) in June 2021, the premier League of Legends tournament in South Korea.

During his tenure, Hiến often shared insights on business operations, famously stating, "It's okay to make mistakes, but you must do it sincerely." However, his career took a downturn with the recent legal issues surrounding copyright violations.

Authorities have confirmed that Hiến registered his permanent residence at apartment CH02, 9th floor, Block B, Green Pearl Building, 378 Minh Khai, Vĩnh Tuy Ward, Hanoi. His current location has been identified as 30 Tân Phú, Tân Mỹ Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Following his disappearance, the Bắc Ninh police issued a notice on September 9, officially placing him on the wanted list.

Anyone who spots Bùi Bá Hiến is encouraged to report to the nearest police station, prosecutor's office, or local government office. The police have urged the public to assist in apprehending him and to notify the Bắc Ninh police department immediately at 169 Lý Anh Tông, Võ Cường Ward, Bắc Ninh Province.
