According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on August 31, the mountainous and midland regions of Northern Vietnam experienced localized heat, with temperatures reaching above 35 degrees Celsius by 1 PM.

On September 1, most of Northern Vietnam, excluding Dien Bien, Lai Chau, and Son La, will see high temperatures, with some areas experiencing extreme heat ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, and even exceeding 37 degrees in certain locations. The relative humidity is expected to drop to between 45-50%.

As the holiday continues, the heat will persist, particularly from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and eastern Quang Ngai, where temperatures will also peak between 35-37 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 37 degrees. The relative humidity in these regions will be around 50-55%.

The heat is expected to last until approximately September 3-4, with a level 1 warning issued for the risk of natural disasters due to the heat. The combination of high temperatures and low humidity raises concerns about fire hazards in residential areas due to increased electricity usage. Additionally, prolonged exposure to high temperatures may lead to dehydration.

In Hanoi, the weather forecast for the next ten days shows mostly cloudy skies with no rain. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 34-35 degrees Celsius. Specifically, on September 1, temperatures will range from a low of 27 degrees Celsius to a high of 35 degrees. On September 2, temperatures will vary between 26-34 degrees Celsius, while from September 3-5, the lows will be around 26-27 degrees Celsius and highs will remain at 34-35 degrees Celsius. By September 6-7, the temperatures will peak around 35 degrees Celsius, with lows of 27 degrees Celsius.

Overall, the weather in Hanoi for the next ten days is expected to be dry with high temperatures, and residents are advised to take precautions to protect their health, especially during midday and early afternoon outdoor activities.
