A 113-year-old Heroic Mother of Vietnam, Trần Thị Út, has recently been honored with a financial support of 700 million VND from Vingroup. This gesture is part of a significant gratitude program aimed at recognizing the contributions of individuals who served the nation during the revolution. According to reports from Cà Mau, as of the morning of August 29, the Department of Home Affairs confirmed that the Tâm thiện Fund, managed by Vingroup, has completed disbursement for 58 Heroic Mothers in the province, fulfilling its commitment ahead of the National Day celebrations on September 2.

The 58 Heroic Mothers receiving support reside across 32 communes and wards in Ca Mau. Among them, Trần Thị Út is the oldest at 113 years, living in Định Thành commune. Each Heroic Mother has been granted 700 million VND. The gratitude program also extends assistance to severely injured veterans, specifically those classified as 1/4, residing in 50 communes and wards within the province. Tân Thành ward has the highest concentration of severely injured veterans, totaling 14 cases.

For veterans with a disability rate of 81% or higher, the oldest beneficiary is Nguyễn Thị Út, aged 89, residing in Bình Minh hamlet, Trần Văn Thời commune. Each veteran in this category also receives 700 million VND from Vingroup. Notably, children of martyrs under 18 years old will receive a regular monthly allowance of 5 million VND until they reach adulthood. In this support initiative, two children of martyr Châu Khêl, Châu Minh Khiêm, 17, and Châu Thị Bé Tuyền, 12, are highlighted as exemplary cases, both living in Biển Đông B hamlet, Hiệp Thành ward.

Overall, the Tâm thiện Fund has allocated 122.5 billion VND to honor the Heroic Mothers and severely injured veterans in Ca Mau province. This gift-giving event is part of a major support package worth 11 trillion VND from the Tâm thiện Fund, aimed at caring for those who contributed to the revolution nationwide. According to the general policy, Heroic Mothers and severely injured veterans, defined as those with a disability rate of 81% or higher, will receive financial support for housing construction valued between 700 to 800 million VND. Depending on individual preferences and local assessment progress, beneficiaries may also choose to receive savings books or apartments. Vingroup has prioritized completing the distribution of support to 100% of Heroic Mothers before September 2, 2026.
