Tùng Dương and Youth Rally for 'Homeland in Heart' Concert

Singer Tùng Dương, along with hundreds of fans, gathered on Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street to sing 'Continuing the Story of Peace' in support of the upcoming concert 'Homeland in Heart'. Scheduled for the evening of August 23, the concert will take place in Vạn Phúc Urban Area, with a live broadcast on LED screens for thousands of viewers who cannot attend the main stage.

The event is organized by Nhân Dân Newspaper and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. On August 22, Tùng Dương interacted with fans during a pre-concert activity, expressing his pride in participating in a national concert for the second time. He previously performed 'Continuing the Story of Peace', composed by Nguyễn Văn Chung, before an audience of 50,000 in Hanoi in August 2025.

During the event, Tùng Dương and nearly 1,000 young people sang the song, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Many attendees were excited to receive concert tickets through games organized by the event's representatives. One fan, Phạm Trần Lan Phương, traveled from Đăk Lăk to Ho Chi Minh City, expressing her happiness at being able to experience the concert live after initially planning to watch online.

Participants, including students like Phan Thanh Bích Ngọc and Nguyễn Huỳnh Thanh Dân, dressed as soldiers, reflecting their gratitude for the sacrifices made for the country’s peace. The concert is expected to highlight military parades featuring armed forces and police, which many attendees are eagerly anticipating.

On August 22, thousands of young people lined up to exchange tickets at Vạn Phúc Urban Area, where the main event will start at 7 PM on August 23. Nearly 20 singers from various generations will perform songs celebrating the homeland, national pride, and the country's renewal.

Last year, the concert first took place at Mỹ Đình Stadium in Hanoi, igniting a wave of interest in national concerts among the youth. The 'Homeland in Heart' concert is recognized as a significant artistic and social phenomenon in 2025, attracting hundreds of millions of views, shares, and interactions across digital platforms both domestically and internationally. In January, the concert received the Sol Vàng award, the highest honor in the political art program category from the Vietnam Musicians' Association. Unlike traditional political art programs, this concert adopts a modern format to convey themes of patriotism, combining music, stagecraft, technology, and visual effects to create an emotional experience for the audience.
