Just a day prior, Quang Minh had shared a photo of Tăng Khánh Chi surrounded by moving boxes, captioning it as a birthday gift from his wife. Quang Minh and Tăng Khánh Chi began their relationship in 2023 after meeting at a mutual friend's party. Initially, they kept their relationship private, occasionally appearing together at events or on trips. Their romance became public at the end of 2024 when Tăng Khánh Chi gave birth to their son, Dustin, and they subsequently registered their marriage.

Despite the 37-year age gap, the couple has received mixed reactions from the public.
