New Deputy Head of Hanoi's Internal Affairs Committee Appointed
Nguyen Van Toan has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Hanoi Party
The Hanoi Party Committee has announced the appointment of two new Deputy Heads of the Office as part of a strategic move to strengthen its leadership and operational efficiency. The announcement was made during a meeting led by Nguyen Van Phong, the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, on July 24.
As part of the changes, Doan Van Duc, who has served as the Deputy Head of the Office, will retire and begin receiving social insurance benefits starting August 1, 2026. In his place, Pham Minh Hoang, previously the Deputy Director of the State-Owned Enterprise Development Department under the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as Deputy Head of the Office for a term of five years.
Additionally, Tran Duc Trung Tien, the Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Office of the Hanoi Party Committee, has also been appointed as Deputy Head of the Office for a five-year term. Nguyen Van Phong emphasized that these appointments were made after careful consideration of each individual's qualifications and experience, aiming to ensure a seamless leadership transition and enhance the quality of advisory work for the Party Committee.
During the meeting, Nguyen Van Phong highlighted the importance of personnel management in strengthening the Party's structure. He noted that the new appointments not only leverage the strengths of the individuals involved but also aim to create stability and continuity within the organization. Both newly appointed Deputy Heads are recognized for their solid training and extensive experience in management and advisory roles, positioning them well to meet the demands of their new responsibilities.
Nguyen Van Phong also acknowledged the contributions of Doan Van Duc over the years and expressed hope that he would continue to share his insights for the development of the capital city after his retirement. He urged the team to enhance their political acumen, professional skills, and innovative thinking to meet the increasing demands of leadership and implementation of strategic tasks in Hanoi.
