On July 13, Rongtong Advanced Manufacturing published its second quarter report, revealing a strategic shift in its investment focus. By the end of the second quarter, the fund's scale reached 495 million yuan, reflecting a 2.09% increase from the previous quarter.

During this period, the A-class net value of the fund surged by 82.37%, while the C-class net value rose by 82.15%. This performance significantly outpaced the benchmark net value growth of 23.54% during the same timeframe. The fund manager noted a heightened focus on sectors experiencing simultaneous growth in both demand and price, indicating a strong performance outlook for these areas.

The report indicates a dramatic overhaul of the fund's top holdings, with eight out of the top ten stocks being replaced. The fund has notably decreased its investment in optical communication while ramping up its stakes in the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and computing chip sectors. New major holdings include Xichuang Data (8.15%), Lanke Technology (7.51%), Shengyi Technology (6.89%), and Shenzhen South Circuit (5.50%).

In contrast, several previously significant holdings such as New Ease, Changfei Optical Fiber, and Ningde Times have been completely removed from the top ten list. Although Zhongji Xuchuang remains a key holding, its proportion has decreased from 9.62% to 7.29%. Similarly, the stake in Xinji Micro has dropped significantly.

The new major investments in Shengyi Technology, Shenzhen South Circuit, and Jiantao Laminates represent a strong commitment to the PCB industry. Furthermore, Xichuang Data and Lanke Technology are expected to benefit significantly from the surging demand for AI servers and high-bandwidth memory chips. The fund's strategy has evolved from focusing solely on optical modules to encompassing servers, storage, and core chips.

Additionally, the inclusion of Longchuan Technology (semiconductor testing equipment), Dier Laser (laser processing equipment), and Zhongtung High-Tech (industrial CNC tools) enhances the fund's defensive and offensive capabilities within the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors.
