NDO - Politburo member, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang paid a working visit to the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee on August 10 to discuss the training and fostering of Party cadres and the implementation of the Central Secretariat’s Regulation No. 11-QD/TW on building a standard school of politics.


Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Politburo’s Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW, dated October 9, 2014, on the work of research theory and orientation to 2030; the Central Secretariat’s Directive No. 23-CT/TW, dated February 9, 2018, on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of learning, research, application and development of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in the new situation associated with the implementation of the Party's guiding documents on analysis of reality and theoretical research.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee also proposed that the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics should have mechanisms and policies to mobilise, rotate and appoint qualified, capable, and doctoral-level cadres of the academy to go on field trips for a limited time in the locality, and hold the position of Principal or Vice-Principal of the Provincial School of Politics, to support the implementation of building a standard school of politics.

It is necessary to have a mechanism on supporting policies in training and fostering cadres and lecturers at the schools of politics through policies on training and fostering civil servants.
