Dong Thap, Dong Nai, Binh Duong Union of Friendship Organizations have assisted its members and international friends fight against Covid-19.
Representatives of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Thap and the provincial Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship Association presented gifts to encourage members of the friendship association.
Recently, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Thap, Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces together with local friendship association have had many meaningful activities to support members and people in difficult circumstances during the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic.
The Dong Thap Friendship Union and provincial Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association July 26 have visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the members of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of the two border districts Hong Ngu, Tan Hong and Hong Ngu City. This is a timely encouragement to support the families of members in need, helping them feel more secure during the complicated situation of the ongoing pandemic.
On this occasion, they also visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Border Guard station and the Thuong Phuoc Border Gate Customs Branch under the Dong Thap Customs Department who is on duty to control illegal immigration and prevent Covid-19.
Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association in Dong Nai join hands to prevent pandemic
The Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association in Dong Nai province mobilizes and donates to support members and people in difficult circumstances.
When the fourth phase of the Covid-19 broke out, many parts of Dong Nai province went into lockdown, the provincial Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association has mobilized donation to support members and people in difficult circumstances in affected areas. After a short time, the association has collected over 2.9 tons of rice, VND 66 million (USD 2.870) in cash, 2 tons of vegetables and fruits, 1,580 bottles of cooking oil, 240 packages of seasoning, 500 kg of sugar and other necessities.
In particular, the association has called for business members to exempt 4,500 rooms and 496 motels' fees for workers and labors; supporting Lao students and one Cambodian student in the blockade area at Dong Nai University of Technology.
Previously, in May, the association has donated 25,000,000 medical masks to the people of Champasack province through the Consulate General of Laos in Ho Chi Minh City.
Consul General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City Sok Dareth, on behalf of the Binh Duong Provincial Friendship Union, gives USD 30,000 to Kratie province.
Binh Duong Friendship Union gifts USD 60,000 to Kratie and Kandal provinces (Cambodia)
Recently, the Friendship Union of Binh Duong province visited the Consulate General of Cambodia in HCM City and presented USD 30,000 in cash to Kratie and Kandal provinces each.
At the ceremony, representative of Binh Duong Friendship Union sent greetings and expressed his hope that the donation would contribute to helping and encouraging the people of the two provinces to overcome difficulties caused by the complicated developments of the Covid-19.
Through the support, the Party Committee, authorities and people of Binh Duong wish to share with the authorities and people of two provinces to improve the effectiveness of local pandemic prevention and control, so that people can soon restore normal trade activities and stabilize their lives.
Vietnamese alumni continues to assist Cuba combat Covid-19

On the 68th anniversary of the Moncada Barracks attack in Cuba, the club of Vietnamese alumni once studied in Cuba under the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association has presented a gift of VND 452.7 million (USD 19.670) to support Cuba against Covid-19. This gift shows that Vietnam always stands with Cuba in difficult times.
A meeting also was held virtually in Hanoi on July 26 to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Moncada Barracks attack.
