HCMC - The north-central province of Ha Tinh has allowed coffee shops and restaurants to reopen from today, June 22, as the Covid-19 situation in the province is being brought under control.

According to a decision signed by chairman of Ha Tinh Province Vo Trong Hai on June 21, Ha Tinh City will have to continue implementing anti-Covid-19 measures.

In the province’s districts, lodging facilities, restaurants, food stalls, coffee shops and retail services can resume operations. Relic sites, tourist attractions, sports centers and public venues are permitted to reopen. They have to keep practicing preventive measures to ensure safety for the public.

The province has also resumed public transport. People coming from other cities and provinces must complete heath declarations before entering Ha Tinh. They can fill in the hard copies or do it online via the Bluezone app or the website at tokhaiyte.vn.

Meanwhile, nonessential services such as cinemas, leisure parks, karaoke parlors, bars, pubs, dance clubs, beauty salons and fitness centers will remain closed.

The province continues to suspend festivals, religious events, sporting events and gatherings of 15 people or more.

Meetings and conferences that are really necessary must get permission from the provincial anti-Covid-19 committee.

Ha Tinh has reported over 80 Covid-19 infections since June 4. The new daily cases in the province has dropped significantly in recent days, allowing the local authorities to relax restrictions.
